The designation of "Certifed Forensic Mental Health Evaluator" is a restricted title and may only be used by those members who are listed below:
As of January 31, 2009, all NBFE Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluators will have an expiration date on their credential to verify that the certificant is in full compliance with the high standards of NBFE. By January 31 of each and every year, there is an annual review of the credentialed members current license, professional malpractice insurance as well as a determination that all essential matters are disclosed to the NBFE Board of Directors. This process will help protect the public from those who fraudulently profess to hold a valid certification from NBFE. Additionally, only fully certified members are listed on the page below:
As of April 24, 2009 NBFE will acknowledge a new advanced certification designation. Only CFMHE who have had the advanced training may hold themselves out as Certified Child Custody Evaluators (CCCE). Those CFMHE listed below, who have taken this advanced certification training, will have the "CCCE" designation after their names as well as an asterisk (*) before their name.
