The CCCE credential is designed to certify licensed mental health professionals (psychologists, counselors, clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists) who have attained expert status in the specialty of child custody/parenting evaluation as evidenced by their forensic knowledge and experience. This certification is only available to evaluators who have already earned the CFMHE credential.
(1) Applicants must be Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluators (CFMHEs).
(2) Applicants must have completed the 30-hour CCCE home study training and have passed the homestudy post-test as a prerequisite to the 8-hour CCCE workshop. This training can be ordered through NBFE's Homestudy course page.
(3) Applicants must attend an 8-hour "on demand" workshop event at a cost of $200. To register for the workshop, click here.
