Description

Cannabis is now at least partially legalized in all but 11 of the 50 United States of America, though it remains illegal under federal law.  Cannabis use is a politicized issue, and with a growing “Big Cannabis” industry on one hand and a treatment industry in which cannabis use disorders are the second most common diagnosis on the other, how are busy forensic evaluators and treatment professionals who work “in the trenches” of the American healthcare system supposed to sort through the increasingly massive and contradictory assortment of information on cannabis to develop a balanced perspective?

NBFE provided a webinar on this topic in 2018, but it's time to get updated with the past four years of research!  This webinar was designed to provide an overview of recent research on cannabis use trends, adverse health effects, and the medicinal use of cannabis.

Note: This webinar is connected to a two-part series.  Click here to register for 2022 Cannabis Update, Part 2: Evaluation and Clinical Decision-Making.
